Mander Duffill are delighted to be supporting Julia’s House as their headline charity. Julia’s House, who offer home and community-based respite care to parents with life-limited children, has recently opened Wiltshire’s first children’s hospice. The new hospice in Devizes will offer families access to state-of-the-art facilities including a sensory room, specialist bathrooms and a dedicated end-of-life suite.
Ian Wadley, Wiltshire Fundraising Manager said “We are delighted that Mander Duffill has chosen to support Julia’s House. It was great to meet the team and see how enthusiastic they are about making a real difference to local life-limited children and their families. With just six per cent of our total annual funding coming from government, Julia’s House is a charity for the local community, funded by the local community. Support from businesses plays a crucial role in enabling our nurses to support families in the community, in their own homes and in the new Julia’s House Wiltshire children’s hospice in Devizes.”
